We discovered the crumbling company hotel of the Hungarian National Bank in 2005 and we immediately knew that we can do something wonderful in such a lovely environment. We started our project two years later, renovating and expanding the buliding and we opened Hotel and Restaurant Tópart in 2007.

Our only goal was for the guests to like our place. It seems that we have succeeded. Every year, the same people come back, reassuring us that we our doing a good job. One of our main rules is that we are constantly looking for opprtunities for development and novelties. We have built a wellness unit, converted the rooms and enlarged the parking lot. Fortunately, Lake Balaton has been close enough to the building from the beginning.

Since 2013 more and more people have decided to married at our hotel, next to Lake Balaton. At first, we held the weddings in huge tents but that still put off some from their dream waterside ceremony. What if it is raining or it is windy? Not to mention the extra costs. We then decided to completely refurbish the hotel’s event room overlooking Lake Balaton. The views stayed, the room became bigger. Today, guests can also use a 210-square metre event room. A new conference room offering an uninterrupted panorama has been ready to receive guests since spring 2017.
